01 Scope and operator

CherryWorlds is operated by VISIONTAP LIMITED (“VISIONTAP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the CherryWorlds mobile application, its game servers, customer support, and related services (together, the “Service”).

CherryWorlds is an AI-powered role-playing and interactive romance game. The website at cherryworlds.com provides product and legal information; it does not provide app account login or gameplay.

02 Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information created through gameplay, and technical information needed to run and protect the Service.

• Account and authentication information. Your email address, internal account identifier, sign-in method, and, when you choose Google sign-in, basic profile details made available by Google such as your display name and avatar URL. Authentication is managed through Supabase. Our game database does not store your password, one-time verification code, or session token.
• Player and protagonist information. The protagonist name, pronouns, appearance, personality details, interaction preferences, and other choices you provide when entering a world.
• Game and relationship data. Your selected worlds, saves, in-game day and time slot, character relationship levels, affection, unlocked content, world state, map state, invitations, and other progress.
• Conversations and story content. Messages, prompts, suggested replies you request, custom actions, choices, character replies, event scenes, summaries, generated memories, and other content created as you play.
• AI operation and diagnostic records. Relevant AI requests and responses, model and provider identifiers, token usage, timing, cache information, validation results, and errors. These records can contain the player text and story context included in an AI request.
• Technical information. IP address, request time, app and operating-system version, device or app-instance information, network and server logs, crash details, error messages, and performance data.
• Support correspondence. Your email address, message, and any information you choose to include when contacting us.

CherryWorlds does not currently request access to your precise location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo library. If a future feature requires new information or device access, we will update this Policy and request permission where required.

03 Where information comes from

We receive information directly from you when you sign in, create a protagonist, chat, choose an action, play an event, or contact support. We also receive authentication details from Google or Supabase when you use those services, and technical information automatically from the app, our servers, and diagnostic providers.

04 How we use information

We use information to:

• create and authenticate your account;
• save and synchronize your worlds, conversations, choices, relationships, events, and memories;
• generate character replies, story events, suggested replies, world changes, and related content;
• maintain story continuity and recover interrupted game actions;
• deliver and improve the Service, diagnose errors, measure reliability, and secure accounts and systems;
• prevent fraud, abuse, harmful content, unauthorized automation, and violations of our Terms;
• respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include performing our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with law.

05 AI features and memories

CherryWorlds uses third-party AI service providers to generate character dialogue, reply suggestions, interactive events, event summaries, character memories, world memories, and future world states. We send the provider the parts of your messages, actions, story history, protagonist profile, character context, and world state needed for the requested feature.

Generated memories are condensed records designed to maintain continuity. AI requests and raw responses may also be kept in operational logs so we can validate output, investigate failures, manage model usage, and improve reliability.

Do not enter sensitive personal information that you do not want processed as part of the story. AI-generated content is fictional and may be inaccurate, unexpected, inconsistent, or unsuitable for some users.

06 Information stored on your device

The app keeps a limited local cache tied to your account so it can reopen quickly. This can include your selected world, recent server responses, and up to 200 recent messages for a character conversation. Signing out clears the local cache for that account. Removing the app generally removes app-local data, but does not delete your server account or server-side game data.

07 Service providers

We use companies that process information on our behalf to operate the Service:

• Supabase for authentication, account sessions, and identity services;
• Google for Google sign-in and, when enabled, Firebase Analytics for app usage measurement;
• Sentry for crash reporting and performance diagnostics when configured; default personal-information collection is disabled;
• AI model and gateway providers for text generation and related AI processing;
• Cloud and database providers for application hosting, storage, networking, security, and delivery of generated media when available; and
• Email providers for verification emails and support correspondence.

Provider availability and the specific models used can change as we maintain the Service. Providers process information under their own terms and our applicable arrangements with them.

08 Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information to the service providers described above; to app-platform operators; to professional advisers; to a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale; or to authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our Terms.

09 Data retention

We keep account, game, conversation, event, and memory data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide story continuity. We keep operational and AI records for as long as needed for reliability, security, abuse prevention, audit, and service improvement. Support messages are kept as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain an appropriate record.

After account deletion, we delete or anonymize information associated with your account, subject to reasonable time needed to complete the process and limited retention in backups or records required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Where retained, information is isolated from ordinary product use and removed when the relevant retention need ends.

10 Account deletion

We may ask you to verify account ownership. A deletion request covers your account and associated server-side game data, including saves, conversations, events, relationship progress, and memories, except information we must retain for the limited reasons described above. Deleting the app or signing out does not submit an account-deletion request.

11 Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You can choose not to provide optional story details, although this may change the experience. You can disable analytics collection through device or platform controls where those controls are available.

12 Security and international transfers

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access and encrypted network transmission. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

We and our providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your location.

13 Age requirement

CherryWorlds is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has used the Service or provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

14 Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the effective date, posting a notice, or providing an in-app message.
